HOW TO SELECT THE SUITABLE CREASING MATRIX

Selection of creasing matrix in die cutting cardboard:


A=Thickness of creasing matrix
B=Slot width of creasing matrix
C=Thickness of cardboard≤D
D=Thickness of creasing line
A=C B=(C×1.5)+D

Selection of creasing matrix in die corrugated cardboard:


A=Thickness of creasing matrix
B=Slot width of creasing matrix
D=Thickness of creasing line
E=Thickness of planished corrugated cardboard≤D
A=E B=(E×2.0)+D

Note: The above specifications can only be used as recommendations, among which the gray part are most preferred.


For example: the thickness of cardboard is 0.52mm, the thickness of creasing line is 0.71mm.

According to the calculation method: A=0.52≈0.5mm, B=0.52×1.5+0.71=1.49≈1.5mm,
so the selected creasing matrix type shall be 0.5×1.5
